Like most people I sometimes get off schedule with my mealtimes. I miss a meal or didn’t eat enough at that meal. Often it is because I suddenly got busier than expected or I didn’t allow enough time for my committed events. Then I find my wanting to eat. At that time, I want something tasty especially after smelling the aromas from fast food establishments. So, I say to myself, potatoes are okay. French Fries are okay. So I order lightly salted, hot French Fries. Mmmmm. It occurred to me later that those fries are cooked in the same oil as their other fried selections such as chicken or fish coated in flour. To be true to my gluten-free lifestyle and not trigger an unhealthy reaction, I know that French Fries cooked in the oil of other products with wheat flour is not okay. Know you know this too!
