My continuing education efforts has brought me to diverse opinions about whether external wheat/gluten non-food products are beneficial or unnecessary for non-celiac persons. I read a quick and lively article about a woman using the restroom to see prominently displayed on the soap bottle that it was Gluten-Free. She exclaims how this is an example of the overblown reaction to the Gluten-Free phenomenon. As I read this, I recall other articles suggesting you notice whether your shampoo and or lotion is gluten-free. Their article contented that this wheat is absorbed into the skin possibly giving you symptoms as if you ingested the gluten. Then I read another article debunking this absorption into the skin activity offering that the gluten molecule is too big to be absorbed into the skin. I don’t know what to believe until I research it more and put some authorities to their version. Stay Tune.
