Since this is a recent and recurring pet peeve of mine, my rave will be brief. I enjoy several monthly women’s magazine subscriptions on housekeeping, cooking, your appearance, etc. In their cooking section introducing recipes there is one recipe entry each month that is marked “gluten-free”. It is a recipe that is not fried, but essentially is a protein and vegetable (not pasta). It is a recipe that is clearly gluten-free. The magazine’s recipe is not a normally flour based recipe translated to gluten-free flours and processes. Their recipe entries is equivalent to a freshly picked apple being marked gluten-free. I find the magazines labeling of “gluten-free” recipes insulting to my intelligence.
